We are Teesside TV a brand new community group dedicated to making programmes featuring Teesside sites & people.

Description

Real Public Service Broadcasting should be about people making their own TV programmes, but this should come with learning opportunities so that they can produce the best possible outcome. Teesside TV will develop learning programmes that teach the basics, from developing a script or outline, to choosing a cast, from using HD Cameras to shoot to using editing platforms to complete their programme. With the added bonus of having a global platform to broadcast the programmes they make. Bill McCallum comes from a Community Development background, as a former Chairman of a multi-million pound regeneration organisation and development manager of a rural development trust, project manager of a media learning project to co-founder of Lyme Regis TV, with a long history of promoting the use of digital media tools in the community. Contributing to Teesside TV will be a small step in the development of a wider network of community television stations, when we have demonstrated the concept at a local level, we intend to replicate it across the region and nationally. One small contribution now, can mean a massive boost in years to come. What We Need & What You Get We need £10,000 to fund the first stage of development, buying equipment and developing our first programmes. Every contributor will be a member of Teesside TV, as a not for profit group we are open and transparent, we'll keep you updated by email. Major donors will get a DVD of all the programmes we make in the first year and an Associate producer credit on all programmes.
