What started as a humble social experiment snowballed into a social movement. It's called The Empathy Effect. Over the course of 365 days, artist Kim Smiley and her constellation of contributors across the world, The Confederacy of Dreamers, posted a true story and black and white photograph about someone transforming the world through stepping into another person's shoes. Established as a nonprofit in 2017, the goal of The Empathy Effect is to inspire loving kindness in public and private life, at home, at school, at work and in the world. What are you waiting for?
