The Funky Bazaar

at 54875 N Circle Dr, Idyllwild-Pine Cove

With multiple rooms full of collectibles, antiques and art, as well as an area for donations, this quirky store and art gallery is an Idyllwild staple. The Funky Bazaar is an indefinable assortment of local arts, crafts, collectibles, curiosities and just plain cool sh#!@, including rare first edition books, collector-grade vinyl records and antiques. It is steam-punk friendly and generally weird. The store / art gallery / gathering place is operated by Peter Buhl, who is every bit as interesting as the place he runs.  Just sitting and talking with him for a while is worth a trip up the hill!
