The Orchard Bed and Breakfast

at 37470 5th Ave, Sardis

Sardis is a quaint little town located along the beautiful Ohio River midway between Marietta, OH and Wheeling, WV on Ohio State Route 7. If you cross the Ohio River Bridge from New Martinsville, WV, Sardis is just 5 miles south on OH 7. As soon as you see the Sardis sign, turn on your left turn signal and prepare to turn into the second drive on the left. You will be greeted by The Orchard Bed & Breakfast mural painted by world-renowned Claude Ruston Baker. The Orchard Bed and Breakfast has been prepared for your comfortable stay within a Victorian home built in the early 1890’s by the Busch Family. The original contractor’s name was Butler. Part of it’s charm is stepping back in time and enjoying many antique furnishings and frames decking G. Harvey prints and original still-life oil paintings. Many of the beautifully displayed vintage glassware in the antique round-glass china cupboard and other curios and cabinets are priced for sale if you find one that suits your fancy.
