NOW OPEN! Please take a minute to read about or programs and learn about our facility. Triumph Metairie is Triumph Krav Maga's second location serving the New Orleans area. Triumph Krav Maga received the "School of the Year" award from Krav Maga Worldwide in 2015 and the "Visionary Award" from the Sexual Assault Response Team Prevention Committee in 2017. Chief Instructor Vinay Chary is a Krav Maga Worldwide Black Belt, one of less than 150 in the world. He has trained extensively under Darren Levine, Jon Pascal, Kelly Campbell, and A.J. Draven. He is also a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under World Champion Professor Matthias Meister. Krav Maga is like no other training in the world. It is uniquely designed to strengthen your body, sharpen your mind and transform your life. As the official self defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces, it is based on instinctive movements, practical techniques and realistic training scenarios. Krav Maga is utilized by law enforcement, military and the average citizen who wants to learn self defense and get fit. For Vinay, the best part is giving people back control of their own lives. “Along with empowering our students, we volunteer our time to provide training for the Sexual Assault Response Team, the Family Justice Center, the New Orleans Mission, at-risk teens, and local law enforcement agencies. It’s amazing to see the improvement in their quality of life,” he says. That’s a small business success story that really packs a punch. Our mission is to empower people to be confident, healthy and safe. We employ only the highest caliber instructors to help our students achieve their goals of physical and mental strength.
