U.S. 19 Dragway offers a competitive race schedule on weekends throughout the season including special monthly events attracting racers from all over the state and out of state areas. As an extra incentive to racers, attractive cash pay outs are offered to winners in various race categories including motorcycles. Albany Motor Speedway is thrilled to announce our first race of the 2014 season “The Chill Factor 2014” to be held January 24-25, 2014. Albany Motor Speedway is honored to host the inaugural race for the Southern Thunder Late Model Series led by Ben Sumner. We will begin this event on Friday Night, Jan 24th with heat races which have payouts in Super Street, Hobby Stock, Enduro & Mini Stock.  Late Models & Limited’s are welcome to come for a few practice sessions. The price for admission Friday night is $10 pit & stands. Then Saturday Jan 25th we will begin at 4pm with hot laps followed by Late Model & Limited qualifying.
