My name is Cathy Bridges, Health Coach and type 2 diabetic (T2D for short). I want to say 'former type 2 diabetic' but I'm not there yet. When I was diagnosed in 2009 my first reaction was 'A diet and lifestyle disease I can fix? What the hell does that mean?' My doctor returned my deer-caught-in-the-headlights look and countered with 'Eat less, move more ... and take these pills'. BTW useless advice that 'fixed' nothing. Every person has the right to learn the food and life choices that can protect and recover their health. And a new tribe is born! This is a healthy, positive, fun community for type 2 diabetics and pre-diabetics to be supported, make informed choices and take action. There are no victims here. I won't allow it.
