Lakecrest Resort has been perfectly built in a private wooded area on the north end of Long Lake in Detroit Lakes MN The 16-acre grounds are private yet expansive cabins ranging from 1- to 8-bedroom provide a blend of activity and lakeside seclusion.

Valhalla a family resort nestled on the east shore of Island Lake on 100 acres of northern Minnesota's beautiful birch, Hardwood and evergreen trees. Wildlife abounds in the woods and on the lake. Deer, ducks, raccoons, chipmunks, squirrels, songbirds, purple martins, and the Bald Eagle live here. Come and hear the call of the loon and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Eight cabins are well spaced along a half mile of lake shore, providing privacy, peace, and quiet. There is a choice of completely modern carpeted or semi-modern natural log cabins. All cabins are directly on the lake with screened porches and private docks. No. 8 cabin is on an Island with road access. All cabins are furnished for light housekeeping, everything provided except towels. Enjoy the many trails for hiking, the wildflowers and especially our state flower, the pink Lady slipper.

Island Lake is a crystal clear and unspoiled lake. Water sports include; premium fishing for walleye, northern pike, large and small mouth bass, crappie, perch, and bluegill. Excellent boating and skiing. Spring fed and located on the southeast end of Tamarac National Wildlife Refuge. Some wildlife creatures you might come across are: loons, ducks, geese, beaver, squirrels, chipmunks, birds, deer, grouse, porcupine and bear. Your accommodation options include one, two or three bedroom cabins.
