Description

Dr. Mala Alhaji Sainna was born in Maiduguri Town of Borno state where he also grew up. His academic background started with a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Maiduguri, Borno state, Nigeria (2005), and an MSc in Petroleum Technology from Teesside University, Middlesbrough, United Kingdom (2010) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Analytical Sciences from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom (2015). He is a passionate scientist, researcher and a philanthropist; currently involved with the University of Manchester as a part-time teaching assistant and a theoretician in the field of computational methods (density functional theory, quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics) to gain insight into enzyme mechanism and function, as part of Dr. Samuel de Visser’s research group. A statement from Dr. Mala Alhaji Sainna: “My great passion is bringing healing to people who include children, adults and families, to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can feel themselves as peaceful, complete, whole and safe. As you are aware, our hitherto peaceful country Nigeria has not remained the same since 2010 when the notorious terror group called Jamaatu Ahlisunnah Lidda'awati Wal-Jihad otherwise known as Boko Haram unleashed an unwarranted attack on innocent citizens in a market at Mogadishu Barrack, Abuja. Since then, the group has intensified its terror campaign not only against our security installations but also schools, places of worship, communities, business places and other soft targets leading to hundreds of thousands of homeless displaced women and orphans children. Although the Nigerian Government is investing its best to assist, the displaced victims of the insurgence need more to survive as children are dying of hunger in the internally displaced persons (IDP) Camps in Maiduguri. A single penny will impact their lives positively!” NB: Our Charity organisation practice the “0% administration service Policy” which means we don’t use the money donated for administration purposes, the victims get 100% of what you donate to this charity. Personal information: Name: Mala Alhaji Sainna, Email: victimslivelihoodmatters@gmail.com; Mobile: +447984000558 MISSION: To be the foremost knowledge-driven and programme-based organisation, mobilising sustainable funding and building partnerships for the support and transformation of victims of terrorism and insurgency in Nigeria, Chad and Cameroon.
