The Victoria School Alumni Youth (VSAY) aims to reach out to the young graduated Victorians, with similar aims as the Old Victorians' Association (OVA).

Description

The creation of the Victoria School Alumni Youth (VSAY) was inspired by the Old Victorians’ Association (OVA), which has been organizing various activities throughout the year for senior Victorians since 1941. Currently, the organization is being managed by Victorians from the Class of 2012 and is funded by the Old Victorians' Association (OVA). With 2013 being the inaugural year of the newly found organization, we aim to start out small but strong, organizing several independent events as well as working together with Victoria School and the Old Victorians' Association (OVA) in joint events. From then on, we will continues to work hard in carrying out the organization’s mission and help maintain eternal brotherhood among Victorians past and present. • Maintain and strengthen brotherhood among Victorians “I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light.” - Helen Keller The valuable relationships and friendships formed in Victoria School are those that should be cherished and remembered. Through various activities, Victorians will be able to meet up and catch up with their old friends. At the same time, they can discover new friends and widen their Victorian Network. This ensures eternal brotherhood and provides a sense of belonging to the Victorian Family. • Provide opportunities for learning and sharing between Victorians past and present If we could sell our experiences for what they cost us, we'd all be millionaires. - Abigail Van Buren Experience is priceless yet costly. Through this platform of interaction, Victorians from all walks of life will be able engage in sharing sessions, where they will speak about their life experiences. These life stories can even come from the most experienced senior Victorians from the OVA, enriching the young members with knowledge and wisdom. • Promote recreation and sports towards our Victorians “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” - Araby Victorians are essentially Sportsmen. We work hard, and we play hard. To bring out the sporty and fun side of our Victorians, sports and recreation events will be organized to suit the interests of our Victorians, allowing them to engage in their favourite activities and sports together with their fellow brothers of Victoria School.
