Description

Back in 1928 the local vicar The Rev Bruce Cornford said to some of his friends why don’t we start a motorcycle club! And that is how the Waterlooville Motorcycle Club was started. Back then they started to run trials-scrambles and road runs on a Sunday. Over the years the club has put on trials and Motor cross events gaining international acclaim with participating riders coming from every corner of the world. Times have changed and the development of many other leisure activities has meant that we no longer have the high membership numbers to run such events. However we are still here and welcome any person who has an interest in motor bikes and taking part in any of our events we put on or sponsor. The focus of our club is on classic motor bikes but a great many of our members have modern bikes for both work and leisure, so don’t be put off by thinking my 125 cc scooter won’t fit in, we welcome all.
