DRAWING ROOMS is a 10-room contemporary art center for mostly drawing, painting, print, and a gallery shop located in vibrant Downtown Jersey City. DRAWING ROOMS is a contemporary arts center in a former convent building in Downtown Jersey City focusing on drawing, painting, print and 3-dimensional works by emerging and more established artists. With ten rooms for individual artist or group exhibitions and a gallery shop, we are dedicated to providing a space where the arts communities and the public can gather, interact and enjoy new artistic experiences. Our innovative and exciting exhibitions, public programs and publications enrich the lives of our community through an appreciation of and involvement with contemporary art. Director: James Pustorino Curator/Asst Dir: Anne Trauben DRAWING ROOMS is a project of Victory Hall, Inc. a 501c3 non-profit that produces exhibits, arts education, and multimedia projects in museums, public buildings and outdoor spaces. Other projects include Rainbow Thursdays, art classes for developmentally disabled adults; Victory Hall Press, producing exhibition catalogues and artist books;, Hand-In-Hand, art classes for children; Art Exhibits at Bethune Center, 3rd Floor Artist Work Spaces and exhibition development for Shuster’s Art Project at Art House.
