The club was founded in 1960 and over the years has played a prominent role in the development of youth football within Perth, growing as a club to encompass 19 teams of varying ages and for both boys and girls. Letham is now one of the biggest clubs in the east of Scotland and is pioneering in the fact that it is the first community club in Perth with a catchment area not only including Letham but also the neighbouring estates of Burghmuir, Oakbank, Western Edge, Tulloch, Hillyland etc. The teams play their matches at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road, Letham, Perth although due to the number of teams some matches have to be played at other venues.
