at 1713 Catnip Hill Rd, Nicholasville , 40356 United States

The Kentucky Equine Humane Center (KyEHC) provides humane treatment and shelter while working to find adoptive homes for all of Kentucky's unwanted equines, regardless of breed. The Kentucky Equine Humane Center (KyEHC) is dedicated to providing a solution to the rising number of unwanted or neglected horses throughout the state. Regardless of breed, KyEHC seeks adoptive homes and ownership for Kentucky’s horses, donkeys and mules that can no longer be cared for by their owners. The equines are housed on KyEHC’s 72-acre farm in Jessamine County, where staff and volunteers nurse them back to health and provide training as necessary.
