Hospice Simcoe comforts and empowers those living with life-limiting illness and bereavement. As a registered charity since 1988 Hospice Simcoe provides high quality Hospice Palliative Care services to residents of Simcoe County. In 2009, Hospice Simcoe relocated to its current location on Penetanguishene Road, opening the doors to the new 10 bed residential facility while continuing to provide the Visiting Hospice Program and Bereavement support it always had.

Help is available through all programs in English and French, 24 hours per day "Funding for this Program is provided by the Government of Ontario" Barrie and Area VCARS is a non-profit community-based charitable organization providing service to local communities since 1996. The agency works in conjunction with our local police partners including Barrie Police Service, Midland Police Service, South Simcoe Police Service, and the Ontario Provincial Police detachments for Collingwood, Huronia West, Southern Georgian Bay, Nottawasaga and Barrie. Our program is a crisis response program providing immediate short-term crisis intervention through emotional support, practical assistance, and information and referral to other community agencies for longer-term help.
