I'm going with 5 stars because this is my kind of place! Low key, weird location, filled with normal Joe Schmoes, great food selection, reasonable prices... Read more

Great place to listen to live music. The concert area is outdoors and they have a small restaurant with inside seating. Cool little place.

TUE SEPT 2 Koko Ray and the Keepers KoKo Ray And The Keepers is a spin off of Koko Ray And The Soul Providers, the mind child of Ray Hansen. The band came together in 1999 after Ray relocated to Florida. While constructing the band, Ray landed guitarist, John Purcell as part of the original band lineup. Ray knew John was exactly what he was searching for. After many incarnations of personnel through the years, the band has grown to being a dynamic R & B based rock and roll band with a touch of funk and roll and a mix of original material. The current lineup consists of: KoKo Ray Hansen on flute, tenor and alto sax, clarinet, guitar and vocals, Gary Drouin on guitar, Doug Dodson on bass, Vincent Vingelli, drums and Einstein on percussion and Karma on vocals and percussion. Their 2005 release of Tropical Blue Moon on screaming armadillo records has had independent success and over the past eleven years the band has performed countless venues in the Southwest Florida area. As an R&b based rock and roll band they are able to cross genres and accommodate a variety of entertainment needs, offering up musical styles spanning from island music to straight ahead rock and roll. 7PM $5

It's Finally Friday... and here is some fun we have in store for YOU this weekend! COPE (JAMBAND) regarded by many (including us) as the kings of the Tampa Bay jam scene, Cope has won over their legions of fans with eclectic covers featuring re-imagined melodies that give way to expansive improvisations and freewheelin’ originals. and Applebutter Express (UKULELE FUNK) Utterly charming ukes and vocals from this boy-girl (now man-wife) led group, now fortified with fiddle and upright bass, very popular with the jamband crowd, featuring stick-in-your-head originals and really clever reinterpretations of covers. 8PM $13 at the door
