The mission of the Sonia Plotnick Health Fund is to promote the wellness of women in the Tampa Bay area by honoring requests for financial assistance with both traditional and non-traditional healthcare, and to provide health education for the enhancement and well being of women in the community. The Fund is available to all women in need of financial assistance for their healthcare needs to include medical, eye care, preventative dental care, and mental health costs. Equal consideration is given to alternative and complementary treatments. The SPHF covers 100% of preventative care such as: well woman exams, pap smears, mammograms and other screenings. The SPHF services the Florida counties of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, and Sarasota.
