Let's Dance! Join us on January 27, 2017 for our Inaugural Dancing for the Cure from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Go to Komennorthflorida.org, events and purchase your tickets for Dancing for the Cure! Susan G. Komen® North Florida is dedicated to combating breast cancer at every front. All of our net proceeds fund breast health initiatives. Seventy-five percent (75%) of the Affiliate’s net income goes toward funding grants to local hospitals and community organizations that provide breast health education and breast cancer screening and treatment programs for medically underserved women in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns Counties. The remaining twenty-five percent supports the Susan G. Komen® Research and Training Grants Program, which funds groundbreaking breast cancer research, meritorious awards and educational and scientific programs around the world. BREAST CANCER IN NORTH FLORIDA • Each month In North Florida, 16 women die of breast cancer • Each month in North Florida, 80 women are diagnosed with breast cancer – 29 of these are late stage diagnosis OUR MISSION The mission of the Susan G.
