The aims and objectives of the Short Breaks Team are to provide planned regular breaks for disabled children and young people aged between 0 and 18 years old. Our aim is to ensure that they, together with their families, have the support they need to be part of their community. We do this by offering high quality, person centered, flexible and accessible short breaks that are provided by fully trained staff to meet the child’s individual care and support needs. Our services are designed to achieve the best outcomes for disabled children and young people and their families as well as promote respect, dignity and privacy of individuals
