The University of Gloucestershire has enjoyed 150 years of sporting achievements, both on and off the pitch. Our students have produced Olympic and Commonwealth success, officiated at the very highest levels, scaled the heights as coaches and managers and have made genuine and long lasting contributions to their local communities.

Whether you are starting out in a sport for the first time, or looking to wear the University’s badge in competitive action, we have created a high quality sporting environment to support you. * We are continually looking at new ways to develop and understand sport and its potential. * We work with the Students’ Union to support the range of competitive teams and clubs that represent the University through the British University and College Sport (BUCS) programme. * We invest particular energies and expertise into seven Focus Sports; Rugby League, Rugby Union, Hockey, Football, Tennis, Volleyball and Netball. * We aim to make sport accessible to all, through new and creative initiatives, including UNIversal Sport. * We deliver a community programme which reflects the core values of the University and genuinely impact on local neighborhoods and communities.Company Rating
