Welcome to Book Gallery West, one of the most unique bookstores you will ever visit.  Started in 1983 on Main Street as a textbook store, the original owner decided he wanted a second location that offered other kinds of books.  The second location, on the west side of town, became Book Gallery West and eventually replaced the parent store. Over the years, Book Gallery West has developed into the perfect place to buy both great new and used books as well as beautiful gifts and unique cards.   New York Times current bestsellers are always on sale.  Our used books - some 20,000 of them at any one time - are all bought from our customers.  So please don't hesitate to bring your used books in to sell.  You can take the cash and run or have a store credit for future book buying. Book Gallery West is located in the completely renovated beautiful Millhopper Shopping Center conveniently located at the intersection of N.W. 16th Blvd. and N.W. 43rd St.   The store occupies the corner position two doors down from Publix.   Jan Fronk has owned Book Gallery West since 2004. "For twenty-five years I had been a social worker. I was just living in the neighborhood and Book Gallery West was my favorite store. When the opportunity arose, I took a different path with no regrets and bought the store." About the store's customers, Jan says, "We have the most wonderful customers in the world. Downtown Gainesville Nano Brewery specializing in Florida-centric, culturally significant, seasonally inspired beers that feature locally grown/available ingredients. Located within Tall Paul's Brew House in Downtown Gainesville. The historic structure was built in the 1880's. Originally used as the stable for the Gainesville Fire Department, the building has featured many businesses over it's 125+ year history.
