FREE STEP-UP MINISTRY FOR WOMEN Aspire 2 Hope and Help - Ministry 4 Women serves without cost to women facing challenging life passages. We mentor, coach and minister to women seeking life advancement in (1) relationship with God and man,(2) employment and earning capacities, (3)development of spiritual understanding, personal empowerment, and peace. As a professionally trained Volunteer Chaplain, Writer, Artist, Speaker, I share skills and training from 40+ years of proven professional work as Social Welfare Worker, Newspaper Writing/Editing, Realtor/Broker/Manager for Others and Self as Entrepreneur, Community Liaison, Advertising Specialist, Public Speaker, Consultant and more. For details, see my Linked In and Facebook pages. Divorce after 24 years of marriage did not lead to disaster, but to the rebuilding of a positive lifestyle! I was enabled to help four children through college and welcome eight grandchildren into the world! The joys that became mine came from the new heart and life that Jesus Christ promises to all who will ask forgiveness of sin and ask Jesus Christ to become Lord of their lives. (II Corinthians 5:17, Holy Bible) This can be yours too! I have enjoyed ministry to young women with the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections, to adult prisoners through Prison Fellowship, to women in my church as a Stephen Minister, in small group women's leadership there (WOW) and with Bible Study Fellowship (VBS). I fully believe that God wants older women to teach the younger (as stated in His Word, "The Holy Bible"), especially when the younger are committed to study and personal growth. Life as "Mom" to four and "Grandma" to eight has greatly contributed to my understanding as a woman ... and of women! God does not waste anything and is able to strengthen and build us up through difficult situations that we may encounter. The choice is ours! "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you", James 4:7,8, "The Holy Bible". (I do not require Bible study for you to receive free help. And God is “no respecter of persons”, i.e., He doesn’t discriminate.) Your choice is always respected! This ministry has been previously known as Aspire to the Highest - Ministry of Help and Hope, and, before that, as Coaching 4 Life Matters (since 2011). We have since grown into a completely free volunteer ministry, in accordance with the understanding that this is God's tool to impact women's lives for good. We're a group dedicated to helping dogs and their families who are in crisis. We do this by helping people keep their pets when going through difficult times or re-homing those pets through fostering and adoption when that is not possible. This idea began very innocently. A soldier going through a divorce and about to be shipped to Afghanistan needed help with his two beloved dogs. He had only a couple weeks to figure out what to do and since he had no idea when he would be back as well as no idea what his living situation might be upon return, he wanted to find his dogs a loving home. It occurred to us that this is not an isolated incident. People often want to keep their dogs forever but circumstances intervene. Sometimes health fails, sometimes there is a death, sometimes finances crumble and homes are lost. The people who find themselves in this situation are not pariahs and should not be treated as such by the rescue community. Rather, helping people keep their animals while going through a crisis is integral to the concept of creating a "no kill solution." Whether it be helping to provide for veterinary care, food, or boarding during a hospitalization we should work toward maintaining the "pack" as the dog knows it. In those cases where beloved pets cannot remain in the home, it is equally important to spare them and their families the trauma of surrendering them to a kill shelter. In those cases, assisting with foster care and placement is vital for the emotional stability of the entire pack. We are in the process of drawing up guidelines for accepting animals or providing assistance (as funds allow).
